Kinjarling Koort is a celebration of film in the heart of Albany!

Join us in the Town Hall for screenings of internationally recognised filmmakers from our beautiful Great Southern which showcase our communities' stories with an impressive array of comedy, documentary and drama.

The Town Square will come alive with a myriad of activities to do with film, story telling, and our community.

The free screenings include Indigenous films, short docos by local filmmaker Rob Castiglione, the best of local student films and the powerful documentary A Long Way Back – the story of Harold Martin a World War II POW survivor. Join us to celebrate our incredible community with a special yarn with CinefestOZ Albany Ambassador, Karla Hart following the screening of her short film, Tooly.

The Edward and Isabella Event is ticketed and commences at 2pm. Revel in the powerful singing of the Albany Shantymen and hear from Edward and Isabella creator Adam Morris about his inspiring journey in film. Then sit back and watch this tender romantic drama unfold against the stunning backdrop of the Great Southern.

Make sure you don’t miss out on tickets to the highly acclaimed Edward and Isabella Event - follow the link to secure your ticket!
